God Is So Good To Me

We enjoyed many concerts while visiting our grandson recently.

Here is a small sample.

Singing & dancing ...  Blah, blah, blah!

Maybe they will go on the road someday.

Such precious memories.  

Can't wait to see our grandson again!

FIELD TRIP

While visiting in Chicago recently we took a field trip to the fire station.

Imagine 20 pre-schoolers & their parents roaming around the fire station.

We got to drive the truck!

 We saw a fully outfitted firefighter.
& even tried on his helmet!

While we were there the truck had to go out on a call.

When the truck returned we finished the tour with a look at the sleeping & eating quarters.

Of course no outing would be complete without a foot picture to document where we walked!

We had a blast doing what grandparents do best!!



Refrigerator Art!!

We received this in the mail the other day. 

It was promptly & proudly displayed on the FRONT of our refrigerator. 

Nothing has been allowed to be posted on the front of the frig before. 

Now the side is a completely different matter, but the front has always been clutter free.

P.S.  Too much time has elapsed between blog postings.  There was really nothing new or exciting to share.  When there was something to share I got frustrated trying to insert pictures with my blog postings.  I thought something was not set up right with my new laptop, but my wonderful spouse did some research & figured out I needed to do blog updates using FireFox NOT internet explorer.  There will be a few more grandchildren updates soon so stay tuned!!

I had to learn a new trick - how to post a video to a blog!

Needless to say it was as simple as clicking 'insert video' instead of clicking 'insert image'.

 

White Christmas in the Windy City

We visited the Windy City - Chicago recently.

We experienced the cold & snow once again!

Fortunately we still had all our winter gear, so we fared pretty well.

I would be O.K. never seeing snow again, but it is the price you have to pay for visiting grandchildren.
