TOURNEY TIME IN INDIANA!!

I am dreaming of palm trees! 

 I was all ready for Spring & even got to walk outside yesterday.  When I got up this morning it looked like this.

Then I remembered it is basketball tournament time in Indiana. 

We always get a snow storm at tourney time!

THE SNOW CONTINUES!

We are ready for Spring!  The snow just keeps coming.  The weatherman missed the snow forecast slightly on Saturday.  We were only supposed to get 1 to 1 1/2 inches of new snow.  Well, we got approximately FIVE inches!  I did not take any new pictures to post because it is too depressing.  We shoveled the driveway & sidewalk once again.  At least it was light fluffy stuff & not the heavy icy snow we shoveled earlier in the week.

FEBRUARY in INDIANA

This is February in Kokomo, IN. 

Gregg & I shoveld about six inches of snow & ice off the driveway.

Jim is working on repairing the garage door opener.  Apparently the belt broke.  I had been hearing a strange noise all morning, but thought it was the sump pump cycling.  It turned out it was the garage door opener!

SOUP IS ON! 

Gregg talked me into fixing a big pot of chili for dinner instead of turkey meatloaf. 

Yum!!  Sure does warm you up on a cold day.

We are doing well after the storm blew through town.  We had snow, freezing rain, and wind.  The power went out this morning, but only for 1 1/2 hours.  We have been fortunate!
