SCENIC SALIDA

We took a day off to visit scenic Salida.

This guy escorted us part way down the mountain.

The "S" trail up Tenderfoot Mountain called to us & we answered!

 We parked at the caboose.

We had to ask a local bicyclist how to get to the trail.

She directed us to the "frontside" portion of the trail.

This was our goal.

I got confused with so many intersecting trails.

Luckily my trail guide set me straight.

With this view back down the mountain we could see our car.

It's the black one!

These steps led us to the observation deck at the mountain summit.

We took a different trail down the mountain.

After our hiking experience we explored the eclectic downtown.

One of the stores inspired me to try clipboard art for myself.

Some other eye catching sites.

We are looking forward to coming back to Scenic Salida another time.

MOVIN' IN WITH FRIENDS

A move out prompts a move in!  

A month later we moved some items from the TN apartment to CO.  

During our time in CO we worked on several projects around the homestead.

we were privileged to have dear friends visit us.

The visit was too short!  Come back soon!!

MOVIN" OUT

Upon our return from CO we closed one chapter of life and began a new chapter.

We packed up the apartment where hubby had lived the past 2 1/2 years 

while working in TN.

It was a sudden decision which I never like to make, 

but it will be nice to have a full time husband again.

After a couple of days of hard work we had items for donation, items to move to CO,

and items to move to FL.

Change is the name of the game of life!!
