RUNNING ON THE RUNWAY

Running a 5K on the Tampa International Airport runway was a lot of fun!

I had done this event with friends two years ago.

It is always more fun with friends!!

It was still chilly early in the morning,

so the Zumba warm-up was very helpful.

I started running with LF,

but she quickly developed cramps and had to walk.

I just kept on running!

I only slowed down for one water stop.

I was pleased that I ran the entire distance with no walk intervals.

I had not trained to run continuously, nor had I planned on it before the event.
